Blog helper wanted

Before I start, I want to make it clear that this is a volunteer job. I can’t afford to pay (except perhaps with the occasional book) as I don’t make money with the blog.

That said, I am looking for someone that can help me out with the blog. I am finding it hard to keep up with the blog and provide everyone with a positive experience when visiting us. The position I’m posting is for review coordinator.

Reviewers Needed

It’s time again to see if any of our blog readers would be interested in joining our family of reviewers. We’re getting requests for reviews daily and need some help to get through them all.

First off, I can’t pay anything. Your payment for reviewing is the copy of the book. Most of the review copies are in ebook format, so if you can’t or don’t read ebooks, I’ll have limited options for you.

If you’re interested, please send me an email at admin.bookblog@gmail.com.

Reviewers wanted…

I’m starting to get more review requests than we can handle. I’m looking for a couple people who would be willing to join our family of reviewers and be able to review approximately one book a month. Most of these books are in ebook format (usually .pdf files). I am unable to pay my reviewers in anything other than free copies of the books they review.

If you’re interested in helping out, please send an email to admin.bookblog@gmail.com.

April news

First, I want to start with an apology. April is going to be a month of rest for me, so posts are going to be rather sporadic. I originally was going to use this month to highlight the publishing world, but time got away from me and I never finalized many of our guests. So, I’ll have a few interviews/guest blogs and contests during the month, but not more than likely not weekly ones. I am hoping that I will be able to fit those guests that I didn’t get to this month on to my schedule for later in the year.

Reviewer(s) Needed

Jessica and I (Jen) started this blog about a year ago to talk about the books we’ve read and enjoyed. Then this past summer, we decided to gain more interest in the blog by having guests stop by to promote their books through interviews (and eventually guest blogs and excerpts). And as the promotions gained momentum, the reviews dwindled.

These days we’re getting more and more requests for reviews and Jess and I can’t handle the volume (especially with me trying to organize all the promos).
