Aside from her long-standing love affair with coffee, Heather Gray’s greatest joys in life are her relationship with her Savior, her family, and writing. Years ago, she decided it would be better to laugh than yell. Heather carries that theme over into her writing where she strives to create characters that experience both the highs and lows of life and, through it all, find a way to love God, embrace each day, and laugh out loud right along with her.

Right now I am tackling edits for Redemption, the third book in my historical western series, Ladies of Larkspur. I am also developing a romantic suspense. It doesn’t have a name yet, but I already love my characters and the way their relationship is developing. Writing Nowhere for Christmas was such fun that I really hope to pull together another comic romance sometime in the near future. As a writer, I enjoy getting to know my characters, even when they make me cry or want to yell, but I especially like it when they make me laugh!

When I was asked to interview Cory Evans, the hero of A Holiday Christmas, I was really excited because I had a feeling there was more to him than what he revealed to me when I was writing his story. And boy was I right.

HL: Thanks for talking to me today, I appreciate you taking the time from your busy schedule.

CE: It’s no problem Heather.

HL: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?

CE: My dad, Paul Evans. Everything I am I owe to him.

HL: What is the one thing your family would be the most surprised to know about you?

CE: Hmm, let me think for a moment. There aren’t a lot of secrets in my family my mom and sisters always manage to sniff them out. That being said, I think they would be surprised to know how

I am currently celebrating the release of my third book in the Redcliffe series, Love Redeems (A Redcliffe Novel), and as a special treat, today I will share a short interview with the heroine of the stories, Jessica Stone. Thank you to the good people at Romancing the Book for allowing us space to share our conversation.  But first, here’s the blurb from the book…

Life has changed forever in Redcliffe, Cornwall. Jessica Stone used to be a normal, happy human. Now she is an angry, conflicted and confused witch. It all happened when she met Detective Jack Mason and his identical twin brother Danny. Jessica almost died twice, fell into a love triangle, and she became a murderer. Now she faces the ultimate challenge as she continues the fight to save the man she loves, while simultaneously struggling with her lust for his werewolf brother and their vampire friend. Can she survive, or will love finally end her life completely?

CG – Hello, Jessica. Wow, your story has been a turbulent one so far! Tell us briefly what has been happening in Redcliffe during the past few months.

JS – (Laughs) Turbulent, that’s a good word. Where do I begin? I never intended to share my story with anyone. I mean, who wants to read about a British bookshop owner who falls in love with the wrong man? That’s basically what has been happening. Oh, and I discovered that there are such things as monsters, and most of them live in and around Redcliffe.

Hi all,

I’d first like to express my thanks at being here and having the opportunity to introduce you to my work. My name is Marie Rose Dufour. I’m one of the Featured Authors at AAD in Savannah this year. I am super excited because it’s my first time going and being a featured author. You can find me hanging with the other authors from Secret Cravings Publishing, which is my extremely awesome publisher. We’ll be having some great events and prizes for the readers. I’ll also be on a few of the panels. I’m both excited and a bit nervous about that!!! I hear that everyone is wonderful though, so I shouldn’t be nervous.

Today, I’m here interviewing Nathaniel Caswell, one of the main characters and super hot sheriff of a small town in Massachusetts called Springbrook, from the book Bound in Evil, Book One in the Bound Trilogy.

Isabelle DrakeDuring the day, Isabelle Drake is a writing professor. I love teaching because its challenging and I love my students. They’re always interesting and fun. I learn more from them than they do from me. I’ve been writing erotic romance for about six years. I love that, too. It’s also challenging, but I get to use my creative side. Also, I don’t always know how the stories are going to end so I get to find out by writing them.

Find me online:

I’m working on the next book in my Invitations series with Total-E-Bound and then I’ll be starting the book to follow Servicing the Undead with Ellora’s Cave. This year’s Author’s After Dark in Savannah will be my first time at this event, so I can’t wait.

Hi Romancing the Book readers!

Thank you for inviting me to visit Romancing the Book. It’s been a busy six months with my AOE Award nominated ghost story, GATHER THE BONES, coming out in September last year and SECRETS IN TIME in April.  As to what is next… all I can say is I have some irons in the fire and there are plans to have something new out by the end of the year.  To keep up to date with my news, I do have a newsletter which readers are welcome to subscribe to (Click HERE).

I’ve always loved time travel books and SECRETS IN TIME, my venture into this sub genre, was tremendous fun to write. I just didn’t imagine that setting it in 1995 would involve nearly as much research as the “historical” part of the story – know mobile phones, no ipods… As to WHY it is set in 1995 and not 2013…well you might have to read the book itself!

Today we welcome Kerri Williams as she celebrates her Moore Justice series.  Sit back and enjoy this character interview with Claire and Talon from the series.

Kerri: You both have been through so much. What our readers want to know about is, what do you love most about each other that keeps you fighting for love?

claire posterClaire: He likes my ass.

Talon: *laughs. True. I like her ass. But I also love her selflessness. It gets her into a lot of shit, but I’ll be there to pull her out until my last breath.

Claire: Okay, I love his ass too.

Kerri: I heard there might be a Private Investigative business opening up in conjunction with you guys, Frank and the crew. Is this true?

Claire: There are a lot of rumors in facebook, but I can honestly tell you there is definitely more to come.

Talon: That’s right. I just need some time with Claire to lay low. Really low.

Claire: Pg, Talon. Pg!
