Curvy girl Pepper is accustomed to flying under everyone’s radar. Being a big girl hasn’t led to many dates or exciting adventures. All of that was about to change.

Through the small-town rumor mill, Pepper learns her old teenage crush just moved back to town. Jason was the star quarterback, prom king, and also Pepper’s neighbor from across the street.

One day he sees Pepper out mowing the lawn and makes her an offer of no-strings attached, no-holds barred sex that has the potential to benefit them both.

Nothing quite turns out the way either of them thought it would.

Review: If there is one thing I appreciate with an erotic story, it’s humor. From the very beginning of Mowed, author Grace Risata captured my attention. I really enjoyed seeing the story through Pepper’s eyes. As a curvy woman, the one thing she seemed to lack was self confidence. Her incredible wit, however, made me smile numerous times.

Pepper is the stereotypical BBW who always seems to be a wallflower. Her lack of self awareness proves to be exactly what Jason is looking for. He seemingly has led the perfect life, but with a crumbling marriage, debt and a breakdown, the last thing he was looking for was a relationship. However, Pepper’s lack of sexual experience gives Jason something to focus on.

Together, they create a no-strings arrangement where they both reap benefits. As Pepper’s confidence grows, so does her desire to be more than just a booty call.

This was an enjoyable story to read, but it would be even better if it underwent one more round of editing to correct some basic grammar errors. The storyline flows well, with the secondary characters providing additional comic relief. Although I never could figure out Pepper’s exact size, it appears that the author provided good examples of life as a curvy girl.

The erotic scenes were amazing, from the barbecue sauce to the handcuffs. I found the bedroom conversations to be especially humorous, which added a good dynamic to the story. Overall, this was a quick story to read.
