Review: Kevan is one of my favorite characters ever. I loved her style and her energy. She is one of those characters you think about for days after finishing the book. I thought about all the different outcomes for her and the different directions her character could have taken. Personally to me that is the mark of a great author. When a character seems so real and you want to be her best friend.
Mason is the alpha male and they every girl wants. He never thought he would want someone like Kevan but sparks fly and things change. Kevan made Mason think differently and really come undone. He prided himself on being a certain way and doing things in a correct order. Yet Kevan was neither orderly or typical. They were opposites in many ways.
Watching their story unfold was sweet. The banter between them was fast paced and hilarious. It showed how much they cared and respected each other. Their romance wasn’t typical andnhad a lot twists and turns but I think that is what made me like it more.
I never knew what would happen in the end. The author kept me guessing which has made her a new favourite author. I can’t wait for the rest of the books in the series.
