Affectionately dubbed The Honeybee Sisters in their Wisconsin Amish community, the three Christner girls are devoted beekeepers who are coming-of-age—and discovering the sweet surprise of love…

Shy, skittish Rose Christner is more comfortable tending to the beehives on the family farm and keeping her aunt’s unruly cats in line than attending social gatherings with the rest of the die youngie. A childhood trauma and secret shame keep her heart under lock and key, and Rose just can’t accept the sweet attention she’s receiving from a handsome neighbor. But the more she shies away from Josiah Yoder, the more their families sneakily plot to bring them together. And when a vandal who’s been plaguing the Honeybee Farm starts targeting Rose, Josiah’s steadfast protection—and patience—just may lead her into his waiting arms…

Review:  Like A Bee To Honey is book three in the Honeybee Sister’s trilogy by Jennifer Beckstrand. I read the first book in the series and made a bee line to read the next two books when they were released. I think these books were a lot of fun to read. Jennifer has written them all the same way but since each focuses on a different sister, they were very enjoyable for me.

Like A Bee To Honey is Rose Christner’s story. She is the sister that is a little too afraid of everything. But that doesn’t stop Josiah Yoder from loving her, even if it is from a distance. When he starts to take baby steps closer to her, Rose has to figure out his true intentions.
I was pretty sure there would be a happy ending to this story, it just took some work for the characters to get there. It was good to finally discover who was behind all the mishaps taking place at the Christner farm. Like A Bee To Honey is a great read about forgiveness, acceptance, love, and sweet romance that I wish had another book after it. I couldn’t “bee” any happier if I found out that Aunt Bitsy will have her turn at romance.
