The blockbuster SerialTeller serial THE LIGHTENING ROUND is now a novel. In THE LIGHTENING ROUND, Hannah More, a sassy single mom with weight issues, reluctantly enters Ultimate Level, a San Francisco gym which groups its members based on their weight and fitness levels. Much to her shock, Hannah actually finds that this crazy “fitness experience” works well for her. That is, until she falls for another gym member who is on a different level. Ultimate Level’s rigidly enforced policies only allow its members to communicate with members on different levels in person for 15 minutes every two weeks both inside and outside of the gym. Hannah will have to come up with some rather ingenious and comic schemes in order to land the romance of her dreams.

Review: The Lightening Round by Bruce Stuart is one phenomenal chick-lit. I couldn’t believe how addictive this read was…every page had me turning the pages in a rush find out more. The leading female character will grab readers in from the first moment in meeting her. Automatically, her dilemmas become the readers. As a reader, I was cheering her on to feeling sorry for her to routing for the womanshe became in the end. Life and happiness may be possible after all. We just have to find that determination and fire that lights us up to fuel our fight for victory. Readers will be laughing out loud and falling hard for these realistic characters that are portrayed inside of this stunning novel.

Inside of Bruce Stuart’s novel, The Lightening Round, we are introduced to Hannah More. She is a sensational baker who started a business with her sister Samantha. Hannah also has an incredible son, Hugo, who gives her amazing pieces of advice from time to time. Women from everywhere can easily connect with Hannah. Bruce Stuart created the most realistic woman and a fictional world that could be very much real. Like every other woman this amazing baker is in a relationship with a man who criticizes both her and her son. He calls them names, he isn’t romantic, he’s after a portion of her business, and on top of it all, he destroys the sweet gesture that Hannah worked so hard to create for him. As the story moves forward readers will go through Hannah’s roller coaster ride as she soon finds herself and redefines the woman she is. I absolutely loved how amazing this this title was. I was blown away from Hannah’s final transformation not only as a woman but also as a strong female character. The Lightening Round is a definite must read for all.
