Review: I used the almond flour to bake some homemade bread. I used my regular recipe for my bread but I may have used too much almond flour. The taste of almonds was very strong and I am not a fan of tree nuts. I think Morning Pep Almond Flour would be great for someone who does not mind the flavor but it did not impress me.

The flour itself is very grainy. The package says it is finely ground but I found that to be untrue. It almost has a meal texture instead of flour. The packaging itself was very good. It came in a thick plastic, not the usual easily ripped paper that you find in a grocery store.

Another worry I have about this product is the fact that it contains so many almonds per scoop. This raises the calories that are in your recipes significantly. If you don’t mind adding calories, this wouldn’t be a problem for you.

I can only recommend the Morning Pep Almond Flour if you don’t mind the flavor of almonds. In my honest opinion, the cost was too high for a product that didn’t live up to its expectations.
