Make a delicious tasting cup of coffee like a world class Barista

For decades, french press coffee makers are simply the best at making the purest cup of coffee or tea. Its classic method effectively extracts any coffee bean’s essential oils, delivering bold flavor directly to your cup, that is otherwise lost in paper filters

Smart Barista’s know the foundation of a great cup of coffee starts with a reliable & well built coffee press

Plunger & filter parts constructed with flimsy plastic & rubber are destine to fail. So we designed a 3 piece stainless steel infuser filter system ensuring taste-free parts so nothing comes between you and your coffee beans

Also, a poor frame design with a brittle glass carafe will likely lead to accidental cracks with typical everyday use. These conditions is the difference whether you enjoy your french press for a few months or for many years to come

Kona French Press fun modern design is inspired by top Baristas from around the world that demand durability & style

Our high quality carafe is specially made from borosilicate glass, making it resistant to thermal shock. We have taken extra care by thoughtfully wrapping the large pot with our protective design to minimize breakage but not at the expense of its looks. Our exciting coffee press collection will absolutely lively-up any kitchen counter

Review: I’ve never used a French Press before and have wanted to try one so testing the KONA French Press gave me the perfect opportunity. I used it at work so my source of water is a small electric water kettle, such as you would use to heat water for tea. I quickly found a discrepancy between the measurements – the kettle measures in milliliters, the French press instructions are in ounces, and there are no markings on the French press itself. Ergo, my first go-around I did not put enough coffee grounds in and the coffee was weak.

My second brew, however, came out a bit better. I found a few sites on line that altered the instructions for the ‘perfect’ French press brew. After a few tweaks and trials and errors, I have come up with a very good cup of coffee. While brewing French press coffee is not as easy as throwing grounds into a drip coffee maker and pressing a button, I am very pleased with the KONA French Press.

There are many things to like about the KONA French Press. It’s a cute little French press and I liked the red color option. (It looks fantastic on my desk!) It arrived on my doorstep well packaged – lots of bubble-wrap to protect the glass and a corrugated cardboard outer box to cushion the glossy store box. Cleaning is easy and I received an offer for a free replacement screen in the box. The step-by-step instructions are easy to understand and got me on my way to my first cup of French press coffee. It makes two very large cups of coffee (for those that take their caffeine in big doses) or several smaller cups for sharing. All in all, the KONA French Press deserves a thumbs up.
