Julia has never met a man who can keep up with her sexual needs. Alex has never met a woman he couldn’t conquer and control. Sparks fly when Julia moves to Primeval Lake.

To fulfill the terms of her grandfather’s will, Julia must live at the lake for a year. Alex wants to help her survive—in exchange for Julia’s surrender. He wants to subdue and dominate her. He won’t accept anything less than her full consent for any sexual game he might like to play.

Julia fears giving any man that much control. She’s been disappointed before, why should she believe Alex is different? Complicating her decision, Alex wants to buy her cabin. Its purchase would give him complete control of the lake.

Does Alex really want Julia or just her cabin? As Julia wrestles with this question, Alex decides he can’t wait any longer and forces Julia to face her fears and make a decision.

Review:  Primeval Passion by Cyna Kade is not part of a series that I can find but I hope we get more stories in the future.  This book is set in a way that has the potential for multiple stories.   After reading the summery I wanted to know how this book turned out and also I have not read this author before.

Julia has been having it rough.  She is filling her Grandfather’s will to spend a year in his lake home. She is not prepared for the changes to the small town she has come to know and care about.  Julia seems to be a contradiction while on one hand she comes across as straight-laced but on the other had she has a sexual issue she keeps under wraps.

Alex is a Dom with a dream.  He wants to remake Primeval Lake and remake it more in line with its name.  Alex seems Julia first as a target, he wants the land her cabin sits on and will pay handsomely for it.  On the other hand, Alex wants Julia. She captures his attention and makes him lose focused.

Charlene is on her second trip to the BDSM club at Primeval Lake.  She is fascinated by all the opportunity to explore but in truth a certain Dom has caught her attention and she wants to spend more time with him.  Alex is a new dom.  He was a sub and is now learning how to be a proper dom.  He is fascinated by Charlene and spends all his time with her.

I found this book well written with a unique plot.  The main characters and secondary characters were thought provoking. I loved the duel story line that was intertwined.  I hope that we get to see how that relationship makes out in the near future.  The ending was a predictable but the journey the characters undertook to achieve it was well worth the read.  Overall, this was an exceptional story.

Warning:  There is a f/f scene in this book.
