Allie Campbell is determined to take care of her family, no matter the cost. But when her father loses their home to British tycoon Trevor Blake, Allie finds herself forced to plead for more time to pay off the loan…and if she has to use her own body as collateral, then so be it.

Trevor isn’t moved by Allie’s story. But when Allie impulsively offers to do anything to keep the house, he’s intrigued enough to raise the stakes: for the next two months, she must cater to his every need, no matter how depraved. To his amazement, she agrees.

Allie has no intention of enjoying her time with the arrogant, domineering Brit, but it doesn’t take long before he’s got her aching for his touch-and he’ll do whatever it takes to make her beg…

Review:  Facing the loss of the family home after her father’s investment goes sour, Allie Campbell has no choice but to find a creative solution.

In His Every Need, author Terri Blake introduces Trevor Blake as the man everyone wants to hate. He’s rich, confident and cold as ice, but he is also Allie’s creative solution. There’s quite a lot of pushing and pulling as the storyline moves forward. In spite of this love/hate relationship, there is plenty of chemistry between Allie and Trevor.

True to his upper crust British heritage, Trevor is not a character who wants to get in touch with his inner feelings. His refusal to engage in emotional entanglements is highly evident when his divorced parents arrive. This type of behavior is completely opposite from Allie’s, who seems to be the glue keeping her family together.

While some readers may appreciate Allie’s sacrificial nature, it doesn’t quite work for me. I spent much of the story wishing that someone would give Trevor a good smack. In spite of their individual character flaws, together they manage to create some scorching heat. The love scenes support the storyline without overpowering it.

Even though the outcome was predictable, the author did an excellent job adding unique secondary characters to keep the pace moving forward. From nicknames to bizarre wedding plans, this is a story that will stimulate your funny bone…in between moments of extreme heat.
