Review:  This is a large garlic press that had some weight to it as well as two nice sized black non slip grips, one on each handle, to make it easier to use.  The press has a nice look to it since it iss polished aluminum.  The problem was the masher did not always fit smoothly into the cavity to press the garlic and often had to be maneuvered into place.  When I pressed the handles together and the part fit in like it was supposed to, it worked like a dream.  Unfortunately, that happened less than 50% of the time.  Not having to peel the garlic did save time but since the mechanics of the garlic press did not always work, it’s a moot point.  It was a little difficult to clean to get all the residual pieces of garlic out especially since handwashing is recommended so I didn’t put it in the dishwasher.  The price at $14.29 seemed a little high to me.

I have used other products by HomeFlav and found them useful and up to their job although they don’t include instructions with any of the products I used so far.  I would give some of their other kitchen products a try and hope for better results.
