Review:  I was pleasantly surprised by the easy to follow directions, ease of use of the scale as well as its lightweight and compact size and that it came with a battery and ready to use.  The pocket scale has an easy to read display and can easily be switched between measurements.  The scale can measure in grams (g), ounces (oz), grain (gn) or carat (ct) but I didn’t know what gn or ct stood for until I looked it up since it doesn’t state it on the box, scale or the directions. This would have been useful information to have. There is a 10 year warranty on the product so I believe it will hold up well.

I used the scale to measure gold and coins to test it out and was pleased with the results.  I anticipate using the scale at flea markets, garage sales or estate sales to ensure what the seller is representing is true.  I would recommend this scale to others.  Smart Weigh also makes a variety of kitchen scales and I can easily see myself purchasing one of them.  They also sell a Measure Equivalents Magnet Chart that I would find useful.
