Billionaire media magnate, Andros Casstellini, thinks women are there for one thing, and one thing only. Lyra ‘the man eater’ Matthews tends to think the same about men. But Andros has something she needs, namely cash—and lots of it. So on this occasion Lyra has no choice but to hang around for a while, and one quick tumble isn’t going to cut it, Lyra has to make him burn…
Andros’ desire for Lyra is immediate. The more time he spends with her the more he wants her. But nothing he does will bring her to heel…until Lyra spells it out pure and simple. A mistress she will be, and it is going to cost him.
Before long Andros and Lyra are wrapped up in one another, in a relationship that neither could have expected, but she is brimming with secrets, he won’t allow anyone too close, and heartache is just around the corner… In the end it might just end up costing them both more than they could ever have imagined.
Review: Claimed by the Sicilian Tycoon is the third book in the Criminal Seduction series by Emma Shortt. While this book can be read as a standalone novel, I find it best read as part of the series to get a better feel of the characters.
Andros Casstellini is a billionaire. He has the world at his fingertips. He can have whoever he wants, and when he stops a beautiful woman names Lyra. He wants her. Andros thinks woman are only good for one thing and that was sex. Despite Andros’s warped view of women, he has trouble-letting Lyra go. He worries about her in ways he never expected.
Lyra Matthews does not see why she needs a man other than one to scratch an itch. She is known as a man eater. She is a beautiful woman on a mission, one she is not telling Andros. She is also very strong, and focused. Nothing with disturb her mission. I loved how forward Lyra is. She is willing to put everything on the line and tell it like it is.
Lyra and Andros are perfect for each other. The chemistry between them is blistering. Each of them is so strong and unwilling to give an inch unless they had too. Life between them will always be interesting.
I loved this story a lot. Ms. Short does a great job of drawing the reader into the story and before you know it, time has passed. I had a hard time putting this book down. The main characters and the secondary characters are engaging and appealing. This book was very well written. Overall, this was a fabulous book.
