Anniversary Top 5 & Contest: Eve Langlais

Eve Langlais

Welcome to day four of ménage week and we are excited to welcome Eve Langlais to Romancing the Book.  Sit back and enjoy this fun top 5 list.

For those who might be new to my work, you might not know about my penchant for sometimes mixing up my shifters. While I do have some series that stick to traditional pairings with wolves and big cats etc… I also have a completely humorous one titled Furry United Coalition (better known as F.U.C lol). With F.U.C you get to giggle over the oddest, yet oddly compatible, pairings like, Bunny and the Bear, Swan and the Bear, Croc and the Fox, Lion and the Falcon and Doe and the Wolf.

Keeping that quirky topic in mind, I came up with a Top Five list of really odd mixings. See what you think…and then try to add to it.

Five Awesome Shifter Hero and Heroine Combinations

  • A Boa and His Panda – Boa’s like to hug and Panda’s are so huggable 😀
  • A Lion and His Wolf. He’d roar, she’d bitch. I could totally see this pair butting heads and getting wild.
  • A Bull and His Fox – She’d flash that red tail and he’d be chasing her!
  • A Dragon and His Phoenix – Because he probably shoots fire at the moment of climax, but no worries, she’d turn to ash and be born again.
  • An Ostrich and Her … – What should I pair the next heroine in the F.U.C series with?

Can one woman handle two dominant men intent on staking their claim?

Warning: This story contains adult subject matter and language that is probably not suitable for anyone. (MFM paranormal erotic romance)

Two’s a couple, three’s a ménage, not to mention the law. Welcome to an alternate world where the government gives tax breaks to women who choose to take on two or more men—and werewolves live amongst us.

Despite the laws encouraging polygamy, Chloe isn’t interested in a relationship with one man, let alone two. But all that changes when a werewolf client decides he wants her for more than just legal aid. He’s not alone though. Her nemesis in the courtroom, district attorney Anthony Vanderson, is also intent on seduction.

Caught between two men—naked and panting—she succumbs to passion, gets embroiled in a mystery and learns werewolves aren’t the only creatures living amongst humans.

Upright500Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens.

I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane…with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.

  1. Irene Jackson says:

To carry on Eve Langlais’ combinations , I think an ostrich and her eagle. She buries her head in the sand and he sees everything for her.
I do love the F.U.C series ,it’s a lot of fun!

  2. Dannielle L says:

Ostriches bury their head in the sand, right so maybe something that also likes the sand. A lizard? Or something that runs fast like them, a cheetah? Him chasing her tail feathers could lead to interesting things. 😉

  3. Melanie McClure says:

I love this series! I don’t care what combination you have, as long as it’s MFM!

  4. Denise bambi fogleman says:

Eve all your books rock I love them all. I really like the dragon and pheniox idea hope you really do that one. Your purple aliens I love them all and look forwards to those barbarian aliens next.

As for a wacky pairing, how about a bear and a honey bee? I mean bears like honey right? And there could be insect shifters (although I not exactly sure how that would work)

  5. Tiffany Nickerson says:

omg. I love shifters!! ive seen the usual cat, wolf, etc. maybe a bat? or duck, like the Aflac duck? lol

  6. Amy W. says:

The best pairing with an ostrich would be something that can dig. Off the top of my head, I can only think of a mole, which doesn’t sound very sexy. I imagine that Eve could work her magic and make them work.

  7. Mary M. says:

Howdy Eve! In honor of the University of Wisconsin mascot, how about “The Ostrich and Her Badger”?

  8. Reading up on ostriches, I found that burying their head in the sand to avoid danger is a myth. But they do stick their head in the sand to eat sand and pebbles (which help digest their food).

Ostriches run so fast that only cheetahs can keep up with them. That could make an ostrich and cheetah pairing pretty fun, so I’m going to +1 Danielle on that one.

  9. Linda says:

I´ve yet to see a Zebra in any combo LOL =D How about that one?
    Love your combos.
Thanks for the giveaway & Happy Thursday!

  10. T Hammond says:

I think of those long legs on an ostrich, and a giraffe comes to mind — LOL. We need a llama in the series!

  11. Lisa Givens says: This is a great website I stumbled on thanks to Google. Animal symbolism So an Ostrich.
Ostrich is a symbol of pride, fertility, luck, and simplicity. Ostrich people tend to be truthful, happy, and sometimes avoidant. Ostrich medicine can teach us to enjoy the little things, and how to uncomplicate our lives. So like a new age hippy with a past. So how about..
    .Mustang Symbolism
Freedom, independence, strong-willed. The mustang is a symbol of hardy survival and a strong, fighting spirit. Mustang people are often born travelers and are very opinionated.

  12. Gale S. says:

Well, I have no imagination so I can’t come up with anything for the pairing. I will just rely on yours to make me laugh! I love your alien series (come on, who doesn’t like purple???) but the furballs crack me up.

  13. Stephanie F. says:

Really love the dragon and phoenix combo. They are my two absolute favorite supernaturals.
Love Eve so much, such an amazingly talented author.

  14. Elisa says:

How about pairing the ostrich with a platypus? They are both from the same continent anyway. 🙂

  15. Mary Preston says:

The dragon/phoenix pairing is my favorite.

You could pair the ostrich with a kangaroo & get things hopping.

  16. Stacey A Smith says:

I like them all there so hot!. I also like books with a Vampire and a werewolf falling for each other.

  17. Jen B. says:

I have no idea what the ostrich should be paired with! I laugh each time there is a new combination because I can’t believe you paired them up. So darn creative!

  18. Linda says:

I love anything with a bear, there´s just something about their grumpyness, their size and (I imagine) bad tempered morning ways. LOL
Thanks for the giveaway & Happy Wednesday!
