One Sweet Ride…

Oh yeah. A single look at the leggy blonde in the stands and Tucker Jenkins is ready to buck all night long. It’s time to forget all about his cheating ex and his usual hands off policy.

One Hot Night…

Becca Hart is an East Coast professor. Not a buckle bunny.  But no degree can prepare her for the moves of the sexy bull rider she hooks up with at her first rodeo … Or the shock of finding him at her first Oklahoma State University staff meeting.

One Happy Ending…

Tuck knows it’s all about holding on, no matter how wild the ride. Now he just has to convince Becca that a rough start out of the chute doesn’t mean they aren’t a smokin’ combination …

Review:  One Night With a Cowboy was one hot read.  Not only from Tuck’s picture on the cover but all the pages in between.  Who would have thought a nerdy English professor and a cowboy who loves to enter rodeos would have the chemistry to set the sheets on fire?  There was so much loving going on that I couldn’t help but root for Tucker and Becca to be a couple and forget their unhappy pasts in the romance department.

There was family, friends, settings in Poughkeepsie, NY and Oklahoma, romance and love, laughter, tears, cowboys, military men and women, exes and lots of feel good feelings!  The descriptions of the rodeos and the campus made me feel like I was there.  I could feel Becca’s insecurities when it came to relationships and love and loved that Tucker was so good in trying to reassure her that she was just right and I liked that he heeded advice from his friends.  There was a happily ever after that was wrapped up nicely and gave great closure.

I was happy to see this is book one in the series.  I was excited to read a wonderful excerpt in the back of the book for book two in the Oklahoma Nights series, Two Times as Hot, which only whet my appetite for more!  I can’t wait to read more about the characters I connected so well with!  I look forward to reading many more books by this new to me author.

Favorite Quote:  Unlike Jace’s ride, which was over in the blink of an eye, this one seemed to go on forever.  Like it was happening in slow motion.  The bull spun and bucked.  Tucker, with one arm held high in the air, absorbed the shock of every one of the bull’s moves with a counteraction of his own.
