February “Ary” Felina, an ocelot shifter with a weight complex, knows going out on her dirty thirty birthday is a bad idea, especially when she ends up in Charlie Wylde’s bed. The big, powerful alpha bear shifter is known in the town of Sweet Water for never having the same female twice. But that one-night stand turns into a disaster when the condom breaks.

When Charlie sees Ary for the first time he wants her. The bear in him needs to mark and claim her until everyone knows she is his. When she tells him she is pregnant and he’s the father, he has no choice but to step up and take care of her and his baby. It was only supposed to be that one night of pleasure, so when a jackal shifter comes sniffing around her, can Charlie show him that a bear always takes care of what’s his?

Review: Bared for Her Bear is the first book in the Wylde Bears series by Jenika Snow. I chose this book because I enjoy reading shifter novels a lot. In addition, I have enjoyed every book I have ever read by Ms. Snow.

February Felina, or best known as Ary is an ocelot shifter who just turned thirty has a weight complex. Ary knows celebrating her thirtieth birthday with her friends is going to be a bad idea but she goes anyway and ends up in a bear shifter’s bed.

Charlie Wylde is a bear shifter that up until meeting Ary moved from woman to woman looking for his mate. Charlie freaks when he realizes the condom breaks sending both Ary and Charlie in opposite directions. Now days later, he is obsessed with Ary and he is starting to realize she is his mate. Now how does he convince her?

The chemistry between Charlie and Ary is scorching. I enjoyed that both Charlie and Ary were honest with not just there attraction to each other but as the story progresses their feelings with each other. The sex scenes were hot and spicy.

The only thing I would have loved was if it was a bit longer in some places like the scenes where Charlie and Frank have it out. I did find this book well written with characters that were realistic and engaging. Overall, this was a great novel and I can’t wait to read more from this series in the future.
