Jeanie loves a New Species and is willing to pay for that love with pain, tears and heartbreak. She’ll do anything to keep 710 alive but she never wants him to know how she suffered for him. He’s the reason for her mission in life—freeing others like him.

True has a new life working with the NSO to rescue his people. A good life, until he encounters a dying woman—the female who betrayed him. True should feel gratified that she’s finally going to pay for her crimes, but she claims to be a victim too. He is still irresistibly drawn to the pretty little human who touched his heart and made him want her. When he clasps her hand to offer comfort, his instincts kick in and True will fight everyone to protect her.

Review: I have been waiting for this book for awhile and I will just say that it was well worth the wait. This is one of the longest books in the New Species series. This was a plus for me because I had more to read.

Jeanie thought she was helping the New Species and had an insider on the NSO. Imagine her surprise when she finds out that the man she was working for doesn’t even exist. She thought that she was helping True when she did the things she did. What she didn’t know was he didn’t know what she did for him. He thought that she had used him and wanted nothing else to do with him. True is a story that I have been wanting and I loved it.

What I like about these books is that you know which couple you will be reading about and you also get a little bit into the other couples from the other books. I will say that Fury was one of my favorite books and each and everyone is up to par that I am waiting for. I think this author gets even better writing her stories. Just when you think you know everything and that there can’t be anymore secrets, you are wonderfully surprised. What I liked about Jeanie’s story is that she has been tested with some of the drugs that the males were made to take when they were locked up.

This book was filled with more suspense and more of a story. I never thought I would get so in depth as I did in this story. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. I do know what book is coming out but I don’t know what it will be about. There are more testing that needs to be done and more secrets that need to be uncovered. I love seeing when each couple have a new addition and you never know who will be next. I will say that there were no new additions in this book. If I had to say which species was my favorite, I really don’t know what my answer would be. I do know that every couple go through their own battles and become stronger. It helps the next couple learn from them. So until the next book comes out, which I will be going crazy until then.

I would recommend that everyone try this series because it is one I wouldn’t ever want to miss out on.
