Review: Pursued by the Prisoner is the second book in the Ultimate Fantasy series by Ann Mayburn. While this book is part of a series it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. I chose this book because it had an interesting premise and I was wondering how this book would tell its tale.

Mary is a brave woman not to tell her husband her extreme fantasy but figuring out a way to act it out. Sean is a sweet man. He large man who has a gentle heart. I love that while he wants to make her happy he fumbles his way through it as he finds his confidence in his role. The chemistry between Mary and Sean is scorching. The sex is blistering hot. I loved the realistic way the fantasy came to life.

I found this story to be well written. The main and secondary characters were interesting and intriguing. I loved this book the way it is and I would not change a thing! Overall this was magnificent book. I loved how while Mary’s fantasy was interesting it was only with her husband she is comfortable in acting it out.
