shortstoryICON

While shopping for lingerie, Harley finds something she can’t resist—sex on a stick in the men’s section.  Intrigued and turned-on, she sets a plan in motion.  If she can get him to size a thong for her to purchase as a gag gift, perhaps he might be willing to do other things for her too.  Wicked things.  Curl-her-toes things.

Cougar shifter Blaise is hunting—for human women, that is.  His effort pays off in spades when he finds himself in the changing room with the beauty who captivated him the moment he saw her.

Their attraction is immediate, and it isn’t long before they’re burning up the sheets.  But Harley soon finds herself embroiled in something she would never have imagined possible, with Blaise in the center of it.  Despite what she may feel for him, it might not be enough to make her stay.

Review: To Love a Cougar is the second book in the Cougar Surrender series by Marisa Cheney.  I chose this book because I love paranormal stories especially cougars and other cat shifters.

Blaise is a hot and sexy cougar shifter who is looking for his mate.  He decides to look for a date in the lingerie section of the store.  He catches the eye of Harley who is shopping and is suddenly inspired.  I loved Harley’s ingenuity.  She was thinking on her feet and flirting with Blaise to get him try on a thong.

The chemistry between Blaise and Harley is blistering hot.  The sex scenes were sizzling.  I adored that Harley was willing to help Blaise’s father even though she just met him even risking her job if caught.

The only thing that could have made this story better was if the ending was wrapped up a bit more.  The ending left a few loose ends and I would have liked a cleaner ending.  Overall, this was a great story.  I will be keeping an eye out for more by Ms. Chenery.
