The time has come for Brady Jacobs to grab hold of the woman he loves and their future. But his lady, Isabella Knowles, is skittish. He knows she’ll bolt at the mention of twenty, forty or sixty more years together.

He needs to handle this with precise planning, tools to seduce and never give her a moment to flee.

Brady will tie her down, pleasure her, push her further than she’s ever experienced.

Then he’ll ask her …

Review: This book was part of the Edge series written by other authors about supernatural beings and finding their mates and battling forces of evil.

The two main characters of this book Bella and Brady had already met and are already mates and this book tells the story of them possibly getting engaged. I need to tell you this so that you don’t think that they are first meeting and getting together. I was able to follow this story without reading the book of how they got together, so not reading any of the books within the series is not necessary to follow the plot, although it would be entertaining to read!

Even though this was a short read, I thought it was really worth reading. I loved the emotional closeness these two characters had with each other. They loved and respected each other deeply. Bella is a strong woman, a warrior who has always depended on herself, and she is now in a committed relationship with a man that would like to dominate her. Brady is a man that is a warrior. He protects the ones who are weaker then him. He is a man who loves deeply and passionately and wants his woman to be happy. He wants to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her. I’m getting goose bumps writing this! What woman doesn’t want a man like that?

I loved the trust between Bella and Brady. Brady wanting to tie Bella up could be a disaster and heartache could ensue, but I think reading this book and finding out what happens, I hope will make your heart melt, just like mine did. I want to read how these two strong characters got together, just because I’m curious. I hope you are too.
