Lila’s friend claims that submitting to a Dom in bed is a wonderful stress-reliever, but Lila is skeptical. So when she opens the door and finds her old crush Theo waiting on the other side, she doesn’t know what to do. Since he fails to recognize her, she lets him in, accepting his offer to help her relax.

After he explains that Abby sent him, Lila reconsiders her misgivings about dominant men. When Theo ties her up and woos her with origami doves, she reconsiders her fear of letting go. When he makes love to her, she learns to fly.

Review: Lila’s friend is into the BDSM and wants her to give it a try. Lila has always thought about it but doesn’t want to admit to her friend out loud that she wants to. She just wants to have some time away and relax. All that changes when she hears a knock and Theo, a man she knew from her past wants to help her relax in a whole different way.

If I had the chance to let everything go with a man I had feelings for and he didn’t even know who I was, I would go for it. I understood some of what was going on in this book but some things I never had the chance to find out. I still have questions that weren’t answered when I reached the end. I know that this is a short novel and not meant to have a bog story line.

Even though I was left with some questions I enjoyed this book. I got to experience an awakening of love and letting go. There was a closure and a healing of hearts in this story. The feeling of hope.
