Review: Getting a story to snag me at the beginning is sometimes a very bad thing. You see those are the ones I have to keep reading until they are finished. Stephanie Williams is responsible for keeping me up very late at night. When I picked this one up I was not sure where it was going to take me. Roger and Jasper got me started pretty quickly with reading the diary of someone they are friends with and then they don’t know how to proceed. What do you do with intel you aren’t supposed to have? Hmmm…Gifts are good. Hot, sexy gifts that you have been dreaming about are even better.

Roger and Jasper were likeable and each seemed to have something the other lacked so they made a great balanced pair. I definitely like my men a little more rough around the edges but sometimes the responsible ones are the way to go. Nadia was a wonderful female counterpart for them so her character fits perfectly. Her humor and her responses to them prove her connection to them is strong. The only downside was I had a hard time believing that these were people that met at work and then became friends. I don’t think I have ever gotten that close to people I worked with but maybe some people do. I understand the work connection was necessary for other parts of the story.

This was a good, quick read with pages hot enough to warm some really cold winter nights.
