Tired of chasing his family’s need for money and power, millionaire Jake Wescott heads to Freewill Wyoming and the beautiful piece of heaven that calls to him.

The girl next door, Christa Dunham puts family first, and she’s determined to protect them from the city boy before he ruins their hunting grounds or steals her heart and then walks away when the lonely nights get too long.

Neither of them expect the attraction that pulls them together nor the lost spirit who wants to drive them apart. Confronting the past leaves them both anxious to find a love beyond a lifetime.

Review: A little romance with a couple of ghost thrown in.

Jake Westcott is a lawyer and has millions. That doesn’t matter to him anymore. He wants to be a normal man with people that like him for himself, not his money. So that’s when he notices this piece of land and it calls to him. He buys it and moves there. Nothing is better than waking up to nature and clean air.

Christa Dunham is sent on a mission by her brothers to see what Jake has planned. They were going to buy the land that Jake did and they need it for their hunting lodge. Christa has abondonment issues because of her mother. She has four brothes and loves them dearly, but sometimes they can be a little too much.

I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed watching Christa with her brothers and the love that they have for each other. I understand that siblings will fight but they still love each other and will help them as much as they can. The author did a great job of showing that.

I also liked seeing Christa and Jake interact with each other. They would flirt and kid around. Even though this is a short story, the feelings that they have are quick and explosive. It drawled out for a while. This story had a spin on it when you have the two ghost come in the story.

Jake is bound and determined to find out what happened so he will stop having these nightmares. He knows she is trying to tell him something and when I found out what happened I was shocked and surprised. So this was a pretty tame romance with paranormal mixed in. So it was sweet and exciting at the same time.

I would recommend this book to anyone that just loves a sweet romance and a little paranormal activity in it. Just a story of trust and falling in love.
