The idea of shapeshifters—beings both human and animal—ignites our imaginations with visions of primal passions and insatiable hungers. Most commonly seen as dark, masculine demons, shapeshifters are in need of a metaphysical overhaul—a new feminine/Sapphic blending of physical power and inescapable desires. She Shifters re-envision common and not-so-common myths and deliver a fresh perspective from the storytellers. Traditional lycanthropes and feline familiars appear, was well as more obscure, lesser-known mythologies from around the world to create inventive tales celebrating feminine power, lust, and erotic love. Paisley Smith’s “The Night Crow” finds two lovers, divided by centuries and a terrible sacrifice, reunited in London. In Christine d’Abo’s, “Scorched Retribution”, a human woman has come home after a ten year absence, hoping to make amends with the one person whose heart she’d broken. But the heart of a dragon isn’t easily won and the woman must offer herself up for retribution or risk losing her lover forever. In Angela Caperton’s, “Sweetwater Pass,” the eldest daughter in a family of shape shifters heading to California in the era of the great wagon trains, meets a Native American “sister” and finds the promise of the West fulfilled. Delilah Devlin’s one-of-a-kind She Shifters unleashes the wild creature inside us all!

Review:  Beautiful women . . . or so you would think at first glance.  Lust filled pages, tender touches, beautiful imagery, are all things that make this anthology a steamy, leave you breathless kind of read.

*Warning* Do NOT read sitting in your car, guaranteed to fog the windows and thus encourage the attention of any passerby to inquire as to the reasoning behind said fogged windows.

In The Night Crow by Paisley Smith

Tennessee to London, what would have one woman traveling this route? Dreams . . . that’s what would have this journey taking place. It hasn’t been safe to sleep at home, but falling asleep on the plane should be just fine. Surely, these “dreams” won’t come while on a plane full of people …

Traveling this distance all because of dreams, SANE or INSANE? Only time will tell. Short tale of heat, lust, witchcraft, all around fight for understanding that will leave one breathless.

Nine Days & Seven Tears by J.L. Merrow

Totem by Karis Walsh

Alaska, beautiful land and home to things unknown. Even in the unknown . . . everyone wants love, right?

Thinking she has her life figured out, traveling back to Alaska seems like the perfect way to put an end to the past and move on to the future. It’s not always that easy . . and in the end, will the mind or heart win out?

Just samples of what you will find in this anthology. 15 authors, 16 stories of Lesbian Paranormal Erotica. Each story packed full of lust, heat, and loving women. Stories that will leave you panting . . . and possibly looking around with wonder . . . are things really as we see them to be, or . . .

Simply put, a must read for anyone with an open mind about the love that can be shared between women, as well as open to the thoughts that things aren’t always what they seem.
