For years, shapeshifter Gunther West has known Judy is his mate. His little human isn’t so sure. When a tragedy brings her knocking on his door seeking comfort, Gunther is more than ready to provide it. Neither can deny the sparks that fly, but are those sparks enough for forever?

Review: I totally fell in love with Gunther. He was a loveable, sexy Alpha. The issue I had with the story is that I think the author needed to show more of why Judy the heroine ran from him for as long as she did.

Now I can understand why she came back and it was for comfort from him as he was a constant in her life. She needed the comfort from the one place she knew that she’d find it. I liked Judy but I felt there was a need to know her a bit more.

The story being a short was expected and that isn’t even an issue though I felt a little bit more development (telling the reading or showing the reader why Judy fought being with Gunther was important).

The book had hot sexy and was very believable in that sense.
