Hey there! I’m Dee. I live in the great white frozen North of Alberta, Canada in a small town in the middle of oil country called Cold Lake. It’s winter here for almost 8 months a year and too cold to do much but curl up in front of a fire or under a pile of blankets and read. When I’m not working I’m watching the fighter jets doing maneuvers or playing with Loki, our fur demon.
I started reading when I was very young and since my Mom works at a used book store I always had an unlimited supply of literature. I was wonderful to be able to try anything my heart desired, Tolstoy, Bronte, Hemingway, and not feel bad if I only made it through a chapter before I lost interest. Books have gotten me through some of the toughest moments in my life and are vital to maintaining my sanity. The first romance novel I ever read was Montana Sky by Nora Roberts and my all time favorite book is Mariana by Susanna Kearsley. I also enjoy reading Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jill Shalvis, Kristan Higgins, Eloise James, Karen Hawkins, Victoria Dahl and many more.
I look forward to finding some new authors to feed my romantic appetite.
