Ranulf the werewolf and Griffin the vampire. What a pair of sexy males. Both males are very strong and I had an instant liking for them. Dante comes into the picture and she’s a very strong female who proves that she can handle both males. I loved her spunk. All the characters were highly relatable and believable. The look for true love and one’s mate is universal.
What a fantastic story. Two males in love with each other, both from different races (one a vampire the other a werewolf) and having to deal with the fact that though they love one another. They haven’t felt that mate connection with each other. What they failed to realize is that they were missing a part of the puzzle that would make them complete.
The warning I will issue is this. This is a M/M story. It is also a menage story with a female heroine. So if you’re not willing to read about to hot males being in love and having sex right along with the element of menage. I don’t recommend this book. But if you’re willing and want to read such things, I say go for it. This book was hot and I recommend it. Great job Lex Valentine I could not put this book down.
This story is about Kylie and Sam. I knew going into it that it would be a very hot read because it’s for Decadent’s The Edge series.
Kylie and Sam are very believable and I think that anyone can relate to the amount of lust that they feel for one another but can also feel the love they share. I think that for a short story the author was able to show the growth between both characters and kept me reading.
That plot was character driven and well developed for such a short story. I didn’t feel cheated in the slightest. There are loads of toys in this story and light BDSM play. If you get squeamish about hot sex, toys and graphic language, I suggest you don’t read this book. But if you desire hot sex mixed with your romance, then dive right in, cause this is the place to find both.
Review: Anthony Conlin and Reece Whitmore are very easy to relate to and believable characters. Anthony thinks he’s too old for Reece and of course Reece doesn’t think Anthony would give him the time of day because he is a younger man. This conflict is so true to life. So much like real life and how people relate to one another.
The plot is great and kept my interest. It’s developed well for a short story and I didn’t want to put the book down. The plot was a basic one of man wanting another man but not sure if that other man would want him back. It’s the basics of a regular relationship whether one is gay or straight. We all have had that experience of wanting someone and not sure if they even liked us enough to have a relationship. Which made this story so relateable on so many levels and a fun read. This is my first venture into the 1NS series by Decadent Publishing and it won’t be my last.
Ann Mayburn has given me another book to add to my keeper list. I loved this book.
Sam and Cody are fantastic together. Both are older men with that wonderful Alpha attitude. It’s wonderful that even though they are both Alpha you don’t get them trying to one up each other. They work towards what they want together. I really enjoyed their budding relationship. To see two men who obviously lust after each other and want to take it to that next level was great.
I feel the plot was character driven and done very well for a short story. The story is driven by the fact that these two men want each other and are willing to get out of their comfort zone and do that, no matter what society may say. Both me are sexy, hardworking and so worthy of the love they want to give and to receive in return. This isn’t only about sex, though it is how their romance gets expressed. I’d definitely love to see this story expanded into a sequel. Reason is, I feel there is more story to tell between the two heroes and it would be great to see it.
