Our tour of New York City is a great MP3-based audio tour featuring the top city sights and attractions. One of the nice things about New York City is that the train system is very easy to navigate. Get a day or week pass, and you can get from site to site within minutes. Many of the top sites are even within walking distance of each other so you can use this as a self guided walking tour of NYC, especially in Midtown.

We know your vacation time is at a premium, an as your guide we’ve screened through the many sites in New York City to give you a list of the most interesting, important, and popular sites, so you can spend more time seeing the sights and relaxing, and less time on figuring out your itinerary. The map included provides location, phone number, price, and description, to simplify your itinerary.

Review: New York City is one place that is on my Bucket List. I have always wanted to go, see, and do it all. With the MP3 I was able to do just that it my mind.  The one unexpected thing is it made me want to go even more.

The focus for volume one is  Manhattan exhibits. I found the gentleman that narrates the tour is very easy to listen to. He has a voice that keeps you entertained so that you don’t doze off .  He makes it interesting as he goes over the history of each stop, often giving little facts that aren’t really known.  In this volume I got the chance to visit Battery Park, the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, a few museums, along with Bryant Park and the Public Library.  He also gave a brief overview of New York.

If you have never been or are planning another trip soon, this handy MP3 might just give you some insight into something you may have missed the first time or something that adds to what you want to see.  I enjoyed this break from music as I listened to it while I did outside chores and look forward to volume two.

I’ve been to NY but it’s been such a long time and we didn’t really get to do the sightseeing that I wanted to do – this sounds like a good type of audio book to have on hand for trip planning…I’m going to check it out to see if there are more for other cities too
