Review:  Dr. Jake and Meghan are both wonderfully written characters. It’s nice to see that a single mother who truly cares for her child gets that happy ending that we all dream of.

Meghan is a strong and independent woman, who has fought long and hard to make sure her daughter gets the medical help that she needs.  She has finally come to the realization that she wants and needs the man who saved her daughter’s life.

Jake has the same fantasy of his own. To make Meghan his. He met her when he was the surgeon for her little girl. Now there is no question about there being an issue with him being with the little girl’s mother as time has passed and he is no longer her Doctor.   He wants Meghan and knows she is the one for him. There are a few obstacles that must be taken care of before he can have her, and it is a risk he is willing to take.

I feel that the plot was well developed and gave us enough background about the characters to see how their love would have a chance to develop and to grow.  I loved this short story. It was straight to the point and was sweet as much as it was sexy. Thank you for a terrific read, Ann Jacobs.

Review:  Billie Jensen is a girl in love that witnessed what she thinks was her boyfriend cheating on her. She doesn’t want to live the life her mother lived with a lying cheating husband.  Treynor Pandoah is a sweet good guy in love with Billie. He wants to explain what happened, how he wasn’t cheating on her, and how she’s the one for him.

I enjoyed this story. I found parts of it very funny. When Treynor tells Billie’s Best friend, Jenna, to “Stay out of it, Jenna. Unless you want to be charged with assaulting an officer, plant your backside and let us talk.” is probably one of my favorite lines. I would like to read more about this sweet couple. This story was really short and left me wanting to know more about Billie & Treynor.

This is the first time I have read anything by Becca Dale but I liked her style and I would be interested in reading more by her.

Review:  Best friends for eight years and not sure if they each only feel friendship for the other is the basis of this story.   The characters were believable and it was interesting to see how they danced around their feelings until they fell into bed together. Jon and Shari had chemistry while Phil and Shari did not.

An actual storyline with only 62 pages with a lot of romance and steamy sex which wasn’t always necessary. There was a happily ever after that I wish the author had included as part of an epilogue at a minimum since there seemed to be more story to tell but it had nice  closure with a few twists and turns. I haven’t read books by this author before but look forward to reading others.

Review:  The main character in this book is Red, with the other character known as Master.  You really don’t learn what Master’s real name is, you just find out “what” he is. He is a take charge guy and expects everything his says to be obeyed.  Red has always had everything and so she is a little full of herself. Not in a mean way, but in a way that she really just doesn’t know any better.  You know that Red likes to tease men but will it always end the same or will something else happen?

Even though this is a short read, it had a great plot and I really loved this little story. It put a whole new spin on the old fairy tale and I can say that I liked this version better than the childhood one. It had all the old characters in it plus one more which I really liked.  There was a lot of excitement because you never knew what was going to happen.

I liked the moral that this story gave me but I can’t really tell you much with spoiling it.  I will say that you witness the sexual awakening of a young woman who doesn’t know what her body is really telling her with men taking advantage of that.  You will have a man come in to take care of her and make her find out what her body is really craving. You’ll also find out that everyone isn’t what they seem.  I will warn you that this is a pretty erotic read and may not be for all. If you like a story that makes your blood run hot and gives you that extra feeling then this is the book for you.
