Tammy has always tried to be prepared for any calamity life might send her way but she never imagined a sexy, lion man-beast in her future. He’s huge, got the most exotic, golden cat-eyes she’s ever seen, and she’s so terrified she’s speechless for the first time in her life. He’s stalking closer, growling at her, and she’s too terrified to even flee.

Valiant hates humans. But when he gets a whiff of the adorable human female who has invaded his territory, he starts rethinking. Her fear scents of pure, sweet temptation and the closer he gets, the more appealing she becomes.Once he’s got his hands on her, he isn’t about to let her go. One thought will change his life. MINE!

Before Tammy can regain her senses, she’s flat on her back in Valiant’s bed. Now he just has to use every inch of his big, buff body to convince her that she should stay with him forever.

Review:  I really enjoyed reading Valiant. They just keep getting better.

I’m hooked on this series and the more I read of them the better they become. Laurann’s writing style just keeps getting better. I really like her sense of humor. I really enjoyed reading Valiant’s story because he was the one who really never wanted a human mate. He falls under Tammy’s spell and I enjoyed seeing him fall.

Tammy works for a catering company and was given the wrong directions on where to go. She went where no humans were allowed for everyone’s safety. It’s where New Species live that are more species than human.

Valiant said no human could ever be for him. He thought they were too small and he couldn’t stand them. So when he catches Tammy’s scent it’s all over. He’s hooked from the first breath that he breathes.

I always enjoy these books because it has such adventure in them. The woman are always in trouble. There are always hate groups after them because you don’t get involved with the New Species. They want them to die out and they don’t want them mating with humans.

The hate groups are very sadistic and they do more harm to humans then the New Species ever would. I love watching them get what’s coming to them.

I never thought I would get into a series like this but it is so addicting. I love finding about different things about the New Species in every book. It’s wonderful seeing them find their mates and trying to fight it. They should just give up and give in. That’s not saying that some of the women don’t have problems with it.

Well I’m off on my next adventure and I can’t wait to tell you about the next book.
