Leslie’s a nice and normal girl who’s been having a great relationship with Ricky for the most part. But when she decides she wants more than just midnight trysts and hot sex and she chooses to break up with him, Ricky doesn’t listen. He wants her. Forever. Finding out he’s a vampire is the least of her worries, as Leslie is drawn into a supernatural realm she thought only existed in the movies. Ricky is ruthless in his quest for her and will stop at nothing to make her his, even though the truth of his identity disgusts Leslie. Who can she trust? Who do you turn to when your ex won’t stop dropping by, won’t stop stalking you, and really just won’t die?
Review: The Estrangement is more than it seems.
Leslie is a woman that wants to break up with her boyfriend Ricky of ten months. She just doesn’t want the same things any more. She’s tired of every time he comes over she feels that her body isn’t hers and she has bruises all over her body where he bites her. Her friend Pam tries to help her.
A woman that Leslie works with hires her a private detective named Arseniy. He also has some secrets of his own. He seems to know more than what he lets on and doesn’t think Leslie is crazy for saying her ex is a vampire.
This book is not at all what I thought it was going to be. There is so many twists and turns and you don’t even know who to trust. You have all kinds of things going on. I feel like I have whiplash.
It is very exciting and things are happening that I never saw coming. You have a vampire putting his girlfriend under a spell and then they’re having a menage with her best friend.
I love Leslie’s grandma; she is a woman that has a lot of surprises and you wonder how she seems to know things. She gives Leslie a necklace that wards off evil.
I really loved the plot of the story. You need to have a huge imagination to come up with everything that goes on in The Estrangement. I really enjoyed this book and after I’m done reading it I’m still in shock over what happened.
This is a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will make you second guess yourself and everything that you know. I recommend this book to everyone. Happy reading.
