Aliens, are they among us? You know, that’s a good question. Throughout my life, there have been people I’ve met that I’ve seriously wondered what planet they’ve come from. I’m sure I’m not that only one who’s had that thought, but seriously, could aliens really be living among us undetected?
I think several things would have to be true for this to be a possible scenario, which is how I came up with Luxen and Arum life form, which by the way, is a play-off of good vs. evil. Those words are Latin in origin.
They’d have to look like us, obviously. Or at least be able to pretend to look like us. If they were giant brain eating insects or little green men, they’d be spotted way too often.
- Superior Physical Abilities
To change their appearance, they’d have to have a superior DNA structure than us. In my head, they’d almost be like chameleons, able to blend physically and adapt to their surroundings.
- Intelligent Life form
They’d have to be smarter than the average human. For one thing, they’d have to be able to travel to Earth with little to no detection. They would know how to blend and adapt socially. They’d have to constantly live on the guard, protecting their secrets, so they wouldn’t be prone to making stupid mistakes. Then there’s the whole traveling through space. They have to be more advanced than mankind to do that
The government would have to know. And the government would also keep the existence of aliens a secret, whether or not the aliens lived on Earth or if there was just prove that aliens existed. We humans tend to riot and go crazy whenever faced with the unknown. So it’s a good thing if we don’t know any better.
So if aliens had those four things behind them, then I think it’s possible they could live among us. However, I doubt we’d be lucky enough to have a super-hot race of aliens living next door to us. We’d most likely get stuck with the giant insects that eat humans type of aliens.
Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…
Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarre connection. I’ve sworn him off even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But against all common sense, I’m falling for him. Hard.
Our relationship issues aren’t out biggest problem…
The Department of Defense is here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we’re linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And when a new boy shows up a school with a secret of his own, things get complicated fast. I need to choose between my own instincts and Daemon’s.
But then everything changes…
I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. Daemon’s never going to stop searching until gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?
No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies.
