Book one in the Undone Lovers series. When amateur fetish model and rockabilly princess Adelita “Addie” Sanchez is asked to model for an instructional BDSM book, she turns the offer down—she’s not a porn star. Then she meets the three male Dominants behind the project, including Lane Therres, who convinces her the book is more art than porn, and she’ll be safe in his hands. The rules of the photo sessions are clear—there’s no sex, and Addie can call a halt to anything she’s uncomfortable with. But self-reliant, strong-willed Addie doesn’t count on liking what the powerful Doms do to her body with their ropes, chains and toys. Enjoying Emory’s touch after falling for Lane, Addie turns away from both men, scared of what they’re making her feel. She’s worried that a relationship built on a BDSM contract can never be anything but whips and chains.Lane will exchange Dom leather for shining armor to prove to his rockabilly princess that even the most gallant knights sometimes prefer dungeons.

Review: This was my first real BDSM book and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Addie is definitely a great female protagonist, reminding me of my own stubborn {read: dominant at times} ways. While she’s independent and strong, she has a softer side where romance rules her world and sewing rules her hands.

That is until she meets Lane and realizes that she’s a bit of a submissive as well. I loved how Addie felt comfortable enough within her own body to move from the “Vanilla” world to the “BDSM” world. Even though she had many fears from the start, she learned quickly to let them go. I could picture Lane in my head {ever seen the Mentalist? Think Patrick Jane} while Emory lurked around the edges, not really making himself known. Master Alton kind of freaked me out, but he’s not really in the book.

This was a hot little read. I suggest that you have an ice cold drink, a fan or AC near you, and um…be ready to jump your SO {or your favorite toy} by the time you hit the first scene. Whew! I really want to read the next two to see how things play out with Emory and Master Alton. I’d love for Emory, Lane, and Addie to play together. I bet that’d be REAL hot.
