A man’s Past leads to his Future……

Agent Stone of the Shadow Unit’s job is simple, most days. Work in the Shadows, police his own kind.

When an unwanted assignment turns out to be his darkest fantasy from the past, Draven can’t help but be conflicted by the memories of the past and his responsibilities in the future. But his decision has been made.

The heart of a woman is Tested……

Jes can’t let the dark agent back into her life. How can she trust any man after what she’s endured. Years of abuse have broken her down and she doesn’t have room for more. The man she turns to for help hasn’t abused her physically but he’s tormented her emotionally. A past betrayal left her scarred, but also brought her life.

Can she accept him into her heart and trust him again?

One will survive and adapt, the other will realize hearts can be mended even if it’s a bit too late.

The road to forgiveness sometimes only brings more pain. Unexpected events set their lives on two separate tracks leading to one out come. Lives will be changed and an emotional battle to save their souls will leave them both trapped and enslaved in their need for one another.

Review: Enslaved in Shadows wasn’t really a book I was looking to read. I am so glad that I decided to read it.

Jesminda Zealand is out with her friend Bell. She is out to just have a little fun. She really wasn’t expecting to run into Draven Stone. But fate had other ideas and they ended up having a steamy one night stand in the jungle. Neither knew each others names and didn’t really expect to see each other again.

Five years later Stone is put in charge of watching a woman and her five year old daughter. Just because she’s the ex of the guy whose selling vampire blood illegally. She comes to the Shadow Unit for help.

Little do they know that they knew each other five years ago. Jen wanted to get help because her ex was very abusive and she wanted to keep her daughter Faith safe.

I started reading Enslaved in Shadows and didn’t want to put it down. I loved the way the author kept me in suspense. Just when you think you know what’s going to happen you are taking on another adventure. Nothing and no one are as they seem. They’re are so many secrets and you never know who to trust. Just when you start finding something out about one of the characters you are shocked to find out that there’s even more you didn’t know.

I was kept guessing through the whole book. I was just so spell bound. Really great sex scenes and such a wonderful adventure.

I thought I would find out more as I got to the end but it had to end and now I’ve got to wait for the next book to find out what comes next. I can’t wait for book 2 in the series.

Thanks Tigris for opening my eyes to another author and letting me read such a wonderful story. I loved all the characters. I got to experience all different kinds of beings that I never knew existed.
