Lola: Well, let’s see live in sunny (most days) Southern California. I’m married with three children and I have a day job as a HR Manager. When I’m not moonlighting as an author, I’m a daydreamer, a lover of all things vampire, a I lover bracelets (especially the sparkly kind), and outside of loving to write, I love to read! I write mostly Paranormal Romance but I am not limiting myself to just that!
Lola: My book, Bound to Remember, is about a doctor named Toni that is under a spell that made her forget her past. Outside of her lost memory she has trouble with men (don’t we all) and she happens to works with her ex. She meets a hot guy named Ben that turns out to be a vampire. After meeting him her life begins to change but is it for the better?
I’m self-published and it’s available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Lola: When I was about twelve years old, I started writing short stories with my friends as the stars. I simply wrote them to entertain my friends and to have fun. I never thought that I would be a writer so I never even thought anything about any of the stories I wrote ever being published.
Fast-forward twenty years later, when I began a romance with my Kindle. I shortly discovered that I could self-publish my own books. I started writing and viola’ I finished my first book.
I extensively researched the self publishing avenue before I jumped in. I published, Bound to Remember, on October 28, 2011 and I have never looked back!
Lola: Witty, suspenseful, and romantic!
Lola: Music is my must have! I love and need music to guide me as I write!
Lola: I carry a journal with me everywhere I go and my iPhone take voice notes when I am driving. I have woken up in the middle of the night to jot down notes. It’s strange when brilliance hits you!
Lola: I actually want to write a tween book series. I have two daughters that are tweens and I’d love to write something for them to read. I can’t think of a genre that I will stay away from… I like to keep my options open!
Lola: My characters live with me, they go to work with me, sometimes jump in the shower with me, and nightly they’re in my dreams. I mean they’re like my best friends; I talk about them as if they were real people. I swear my real friends must be tired of hearing about my book friends. Lol
Lola: Well Charlene Harris made me fall in love with reading all over again with her Sookie Stackhouse series, but a little indie write named H.P. Mallory helped me realize that I could actually publish the stories that lived in my head.
Lola: Well I really didn’t do anything for my first book, but I did dress up like one of my characters for Halloween. My next book I plan to have a good ole fashioned book release party.
Lola: I’d love to write full time and leave my 9 to 5 behind, that’s my dream now. I hope to accomplish this dream before the end of 2012!
Lola: I just finished a new book in a new series named, Fate’s Design, which I am planning to release in February 2012. And I am finishing the next book in the Spellbound series named Unbound that should be out in March 2012.
Lola: Where can’t I be found! Lol
