She may be aloof, and more pretty than gorgeous, but Alani Rivers is the kind of woman a hot-blooded mercenary can’t forget, no matter how hard he tries. So when Jackson Savor wakes up next to the naked, sleeping beauty—with no memory of what happened— he knows he’s been drugged…even if Alani doesn’t.

After she was kidnapped, Alani vowed never to trust another man again. Still, something about this strong, sexy hero with the tender touch makes her want to believe him. As Jackson hunts down a mysterious intruder, he swears he’ll move heaven and earth to keep Alani safe. But what really happened that night? And will the truth bring them closer than they ever thought possible—or put Alani squarely in harm’s way again?

Advice: Mark the date on your calendar. You MUST read this trilogy! It’s worth reading over and over…

Review: Standing ovation for this trilogy! Wow doesn’t even begin to cover these three books…an outstanding job from page one of book one until the last word of book three!!!

So, if you read books one and two, you KNOW that the characters will have chemistry that’s sizzling but you also KNOW there will be a lot of action – this one does not disappoint! If you didn’t read books one and two, then you’re lucky! You get to have all the books in hand and can read one, two, three!!! Page one, sentence one starts off the story with a bang when Jackson Savor (hence, the title) wakes up next to Alani…yes, that Alani. This is the woman he has pined for, chased, dreamt about, and can’t forget. She’s IN his bed, naked, and he can’t remember how or why or what happened to get her there.

Since women are the ones targeted by traffickers, why would anyone want to bother drugging Jackson? He tells Alani that he was drugged and can’t remember anything but it’s way too late for that. She does NOT believe him and assumes she was just another conquest he can brag about. The more he tries to prove himself to her, the more she doubts his true intentions and what really happened that night.

Characters I grew to love from the two previous books help solve the mystery with lots of unexpected twists. We’re also introduced to chemistry between Arizona and Spencer that is simply off the charts! When I messaged Ms. Foster practically begging for her to write their story, she responded that she already was! How exciting for us!!!

Quote: “Staying very still to avoid alerting anyone to his cognizance, Jackson opened his hand and…felt. He didn’t need a clear head or his vision to know he palmed a very sweet female backside. Huh.” Page 1.
