Info: I have always been an avid reader. It’s a joy to have a job where I get to share my love of reading with others. As far back as I can remember, books have been a part of my life from when I read Dr. Seuss, Curious George, and Harry the Dirty Dog. As I moved up I read Judy Blume’s books and Charlotte’s Web, a timeless classic. As a young child, my favorite book was The Trumpet of the Swan. I was so pulled into the story I read it over and over again and today it still leaves me with a warm, fuzzy feeling that you get when you really connect with a story.
As I moved into my teen years, my mom would drop me off at the library and I vividly remember this little upstairs corner where I would read for hours on end – I can still picture how the sun streamed in and hear the sounds of cars passing and honking outside. This is the area where I was when I read my very first romance novel, The Wolf and the Dove, by Kathleen Woodiwiss. No matter what I read in romance, this book remains my all time favorite. Sometimes I think it’s because it’s the first romance book I read, but millions of other readers consider it their favorite too! The book is still available and I recommend it to anyone who loves historical romance.
I read all sorts of novels, in both print/ebooks: Contemporary Romance, Historical Romance, Paranormal, Urban Fantasy, Chick-Lit, Romantic Suspense, Mystery, General Fiction, Sci-Fi / Fantasy, and YA.
